Mediterranean Celery Green Juice

Thoroughly wash all produce under cold running water. Pay extra attention to celery stalks, ensuring no dirt remains in the crevices.
Trim the ends of the celery stalks and cut them into manageable 1-2 inch pieces that will fit easily into your juicer’s chute or blender.
If using cucumber, peel it and cut it into similar-sized pieces.
If using ginger, peel the skin with a spoon or vegetable peeler.
If using a juicer: Feed the celery pieces, cucumber (if using), cilantro, mint (if using), and ginger (if using) through your juicer according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Collect the fresh juice in a pitcher or large glass.
Squeeze the fresh lime juice directly into the collected juice. Add a pinch of sea salt if desired.
Stir well to combine all ingredients.
If using a high-speed blender: Add the celery pieces, cucumber (if using), cilantro, mint (if using), ginger (if using), fresh lime juice, and 1/2 cup of cold filtered water to the blender.
Blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth, about 1-2 minutes. If the mixture is too thick, add a little more water, one tablespoon at a time, until your desired consistency is reached.
For a pulp-free juice: Pour the blended mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or a nut milk bag set over a large bowl or pitcher. Use a spoon or your hands to press out as much liquid as possible, discarding the pulp.
Taste the juice and adjust lime or salt if necessary.
Pour the Mediterranean Celery Green Juice over ice cubes in serving glasses.
Garnish each glass with a fresh lime wedge and/or a sprig of cilantro for an appealing presentation.
Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing taste and vibrant energy boost!

Cooking Tips and Variations
For the freshest and most nutrient-dense juice, always opt for organic produce whenever possible. This minimizes exposure to pesticides and ensures you’re getting the purest ingredients. When selecting celery, look for firm, crisp stalks with bright green leaves; avoid any that are limp or discolored. Similarly, choose a lime that feels heavy for its size, indicating it’s full of juice. To get the most juice from your lime, roll it firmly on a countertop before slicing and squeezing.
